The Executive Board of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria (ABB) approved Mrs. Eleonora Hristoforova, ABB‘s legal adviser, as a representative of the Association in the list of the Conciliation Commission for Payment Disputes (CCPD) and in the list of the Sectoral Conciliation Commission (SCC) for financial services, including distance financial services related to the provision of consumer and mortgage loans.
The CCPD was established within the Commission for Consumer Protection (CPC), in accordance with the requirements of the Law on Payment Services and Payment Systems. The ABB appointed 13 representatives in its list for participation in this Commission.
The SCC for financial services was established under the Consumer Protection Act and is one of the 14 sectoral conciliation commissions dealing with disputes between consumers and traders in key sectors of the economy. The ABB appointed 5 representatives for participation in its work.
