Tamas Hak-Kovach, CEO of DSK Bank, was re-elected as a member of the Executive Board of ABB and Alexander Dimitrov, CEO of BACB was elected as a new member of the Association’s management
At the ABB General Meeting held on June 24, 2026, Mr. Tamas Hak-Kovach, CEO of DSK Bank, was re-elected as a member of the Executive Board of ABB. He has been the Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of DSK Bank since November 2020. Prior to that, since 2012, he held the position of Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of JSC OTP Bank, the Ukrainian subsidiary of OTP. Previously, he worked as Chairman and CEO of the subsidiary of Commerzbank in Hungary (2000-2007). Since 2007, he has been managing the Commerzbank subsidiary in Moscow, and since 2010, he has been managing the Commerzbank division for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
Mr. Tamás Hak-Kovács graduated from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, with a master’s degree in finance and accounting. He also studied at the Saarland University, Saarbrücken, Germany, the University of Vienna, Austria, and the International Institute for Management Development, Lausanne, Switzerland. He has been a certified Chartered Financial Analyst since 2004.
Mr. Alexander Dimitrov, member of the Management Board and CEO of Bulgarian American Credit Bank (BACB), was elected as a new member of the Association’s Executive Board for a three-year term.
Alexander Dimitrov is an established professional with over 25 years of management experience in the banking sector. He has been part of the Bulgarian American Credit Bank team since February 2017. He manages key areas such as: Payments, Financial Markets and Liquidity, Information Technologies, Online Channels and Card Centre.
In his professional career, he has held senior management positions, including member of the Management Board and Executive Director of Cibank, Director of Risk Management at United Bulgarian Bank, as well as Director of Treasuries at the National
Bank of Greece – Sofia Branch. He was a member of the Board of Directors of ETEVA Bulgaria AD. Alexander Dimitrov holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of National and World Economy.
