The seventh edition of the traditional Winter Ski Fest for Bankers and Partners was held from March, 22nd to March 25th, 2018 in Borovets Ski Resort, Bulgaria. The tournament was organized by the Bulgarian Worker’s Federation ”Sport and Health” in cooperation with the Association of Banks in Bulgaria. It welcomed 120 participants from 16 banks and partnering organizations.
The representatives of Piraeus Bank, Unicredit Bulbank, Allianz Bank Bulgaria, United Bulgarian Bank, TBI Bank, Bulgarian Development Bank, Eurobank Bulgaria, Investbank, Tokuda Bank and Bulgarian National Bank competed in ski and snowboard giant and parallel giant slalom.
In the final ranking in the giant slalom for men under the age of 45 the Allianz Bank Bulgaria team won the golden medals, while the silver medals went to Paysafe Bulgaria and the team of Eurobank Bulgaria had the third place.
In the men’s age group above 45 Bulgarian National Bank won the first place, followed by Allianz Bank Bulgaria and Piraeus Bank.
In the women’s gigantic slalom – age under 40 Allianz Bank Bulgaria reached the top of giant slalom and left behind the Paysafe Bulgaria team, and the E&G Finances team took the bronze.
The men’s snowboard giant slalom top was occupied by E&G Finances, followed by Investbank and United Bulgarian Bank. In the women’s snowboard giant slalom the title went to the Paysafe Bulgaria ladies’ team, followed by Tokuda Bank.
Mr. Strahil Vidinov – Board Member and Executive Director of POD Allianz Bank Bulgaria, Mr. Rosen Stanimirov – Board Member and Executive Director of Allianz Bank Bulgaria, Mrs. Kalina Ivanova – representative of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria and Mrs. Desislava Yagodin, President of Bulgarian Worker’s Federation ”Sport and Health” and Vice-President of the International Workers and Amateurs in Sport Confederation (CSIT) attended the official ceremony and rewarded the winners.
