The eight edition of the traditional Winter Ski Fest for Bankers and Partners was held from March 21st to March 24th, 2019 in Borovets Ski Resort, Bulgaria. The tournament was organized by the Bulgarian Worker’s Federation “Sport and Health” in cooperation with the Association of Banks in Bulgaria. It welcomed 120 participants from 16 banks and partnering organizations.
The representatives of Allianz Bank Bulgaria, Piraeus Bank Bulgaria, Bulgarian Development Bank, Investbank, TBI Bank, Tokuda Bank, Eurobank Bulgaria, and Bulgarian National Bank competed in ski and snowboard giant and parallel giant slalom.
In the final ranking in the giant ski slalom for women above the age of 40 the team of Allianz Bank Bulgaria won the golden medals, while the silver medals went to TBI Bank and the team of Tokuda Bank took the third place. In the men’s age group under 45 the team of Paysafe Bulgaria won the first place, followed by Allianz Bank Bulgaria and Investbank.
In the final individual ranking of women’s gigantic ski slalom – age above 45, TBI Bank took the first place as the team of Tokuda Bank was left behind, while Allianz Bank Bulgaria took the bronze medal. In the final individual ranking of women in parallel gigantic slalom – age above 40, the team of TBI Bank took the first place, followed by Tokuda Bank on the second place and by Bulgarian Development Bank on the third place.
The men’s snowboard giant slalom top was occupied by Investbank, followed by Piraeus Bank Bulgaria and Paysafe Bulgaria. In the women’s snowboard giant slalom the champions’ cup went to the ladies’ team of Paysafe Bulgaria followed by the team of Tokuda Bank.
In the individual competition in the men snowboard giant slalom Investbank, Allianz Bank Bulgaria and Piraeus Bank Bulgaria took the winners’ places.
Mr. Rosen Stanimirov, Executive Director of Allianz Bank Bulgaria, Mr. Lyubomir Punchev, Executive Director of Piraeus Bank Bulgaria, Mrs. Kalina Ivanova, representative of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria and Mrs. Desislava Yagodin, President of Bulgarian Worker’s Federation ”Sport and Health” and Vice-President of the International Workers and Amateurs in Sport Confederation attended the official ceremony and rewarded the winners.
