Varengold Bank AG, Sofia Branch, is already an associate member of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria

In February 2019, the members of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria (ABB) increased by one. At its meeting, the ABB Executive Board decided to accept Varengold Bank, Sofia branch, at their request, as an associate member. The branch of the German bank Varengold was granted permission to operate in Bulgaria at the end of 2018. Branches of foreign banks operating in Bulgaria may become associate members of the ABB in accordance with the Statute of the Association. With the admission of Varengold Bank, Sofia Branch, the associate members of the ABB are already five, and the full members are all twenty banks operating on the territory of the country.
