In connection with the State Budget Law adopted by the National Assembly, which foresees amendments and additions to the Law on Payment Services and Payment Systems – in the part concerning a payment account for basic operations, the Association of Banks in Bulgaria continues the active dialogue with the institutions. The banking community shares the need for eased conditions in serving customers who receive a minimum wage so that they too can benefit to a greater extend from the convenience and security of banking services, as is the practice in all developed economies.
Banks are actively working on the analysis of the situation and each member of the Association of Banks will publicly provide additional information on the current conditions of their products and services, according to legal requirements.
